Glee just reminds me of my experiences in high school. The show brings together all types of people who ordinarily probably would not hang out, but who have a common love for music, and ultimately develop an appreciation for each other. And because of the music, I really cling to this show. They all have favorites featuring all type of music. And of course they are making the uncool cool. And that is awesome! It is made musical theatre cool for people who are not as exposed to it as they are in New York City. They're putting out a tour, which also will then get people to see them and might spark their interest in seeing a Broadway show, or it might get them interested to join their glee club. I think it's funny that they've made a nontraditional, non-popular activity in high school into such a popular show. As for this episode, Will�s abilities as a Spanish teacher are questioned. He goes to night school for a refresher course, but his teacher there, David Martinez becomes a potential rival for his position at McKinley High when Will assigns a Spanish- themed week to New Directions. Meanwhile, Rachel tells Kurt and Mercedes that Finn has proposed to her, and Mercedes has issues in her own life. The show is really a total package. Also, it gets kids interested in performing. It's a show in which all of the characters, regardless of their sex, are flawed. But the beauty of Glee comes in watching this broken band of misfits overcome their differences and grow beyond their pre-assigned stereotypes in order to forge some sort of meaningful community. I am not saying that you have to love Glee. But if you're going to hate on this show, at least think of more valid reasons for you are getting irrational.
